This is an Army Special Forces Crest - De Oppresso Libre (Liberate the oppressed). I made this for a coworker who was/is a green beret special forces army vet.
I made 3. One is a desk plaque made from black walnut. The other 2 are for the wall and are black walnut and poplar.

Very impressive work.
Don't you just love doing something special like that for someone?

Yes. I hardly keep anything I make. All of it is made to give away... that's the fun for me.Jan.vanderlinden wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 9:36 pmVery impressive work.

Really nice job on the Special Forces Insignia.
Being a veteran it is really nice to be recognized for your service.
I'm sure he was very happy to have a symbol of the unit he
served with.
