Hello y'all.

I've been a VCarve Pro user for close to 4 years (Thanks, Bill Griggs!) but I haven't posted (or lurked) much on this forum at all. I make all kinds of things with my home-built Gatton CNC, and just recently added a rotary axis to it. I've done a few VCarve tutorials for absolute beginners, but haven't recorded one in a while. (I just upgraded to v9.0, and am still getting comfortable with the changes from v8.5.)

Here's a link to my channel for those who are interested. Please keep in mind that just about everything over there is geared toward the absolute beginner who has never done anything CNC before, or has extremely limited experience with one.

I will be doing a LOT more project videos in the near future. I'm just rotten at taking pictures and shooting video of the actual projects themselves, but I'm changing that.

Thanks!
Double check, triple check, measure, measure, cut...

I just started in on this youTube thing as well, thought I'd add to this thread.

Machine is a CNCRouterParts Pro4824 with NEMA34 electrics.
American Flag on a piece of rough cut Pressure treated fence board. I was very surprised at how well PT wood cuts.
Even thought the chips tend to clump up I guess from the moisture, always wear a mask.

First test of my new 800W water cooled spindle on my Shapeoko. It's cutting Beer Taps for a client. I had planned to throw them away but the first test was perfect. Amazing how quiet the spindle is compared to the Dewalt router

As India is under LOck Down and all manufacturing is stoped, I will try to upload some video once we restart after LOckDown.

I use my machine to cut PP plastic that I weld together to make dog crates for cars.
