Serving tray with Blue Danube pattern

Post by alfredom »

Just finished this cheese serving tray for my wife. She has a large collection of china with the pattern call Blue Danube. I redraw in Illustrator the pattern of the border and V-carved on the edge of the tray. The file was created in Vcarve Pro and cut with the Shapeoko 3 XXL

If anybody wants the pattern I can give the svg files

Love the way you mirrored the pattern from the plate to the wood. BEAUTIFUL.

Would love to have the pattern.

Wow!! That's beautiful... Really like the way you repeated the pattern from the Blue Danube center piece around the edge.

Thanks for sharing!

The only way to send to a member is to have them pm their email address.

But, if you are willing to share with everyone you can just attach a file. If it is too large then you would need to use something like dropbox.

Thank you for posting the SVG file. I just had a look at it in Illustrator and noticed there are a few “stray points” in the design. Those importing this into Aspire or VCarve might want to do a "select > open vectors” to find and eliminate them.

That is a great project and your fine detail carving works so well with the china, very artistic.
