graduates about 25 seniors each year. We currently are able to provide $2.500 dollars a year for each student and have been doing
this for the last 18 years, so proud of are small agricultural town. I have made these horses in the past for my grand kids with
your normal shop tools and decided to see if I could make them just using the cnc. So what did I learn from this experiment, and
how much more did I have to learn to make this happen. For this to happen I needed to dig into the tutorials and brush up on my
knowledge of the following areas.
1. Needed to be able to take a paper plan and draw and design that in the Vectric Software along with that I needed to have a greater
understanding of node editing. so off to the tutorials again.
2. Now I was confident with the node editing tools and decided to try something I was putting off for quit some time, the ability to
design and tool path all the different wood working joints I wanted to use on this project. I wanted to incorporate a circle and pin
joint, thru tenon joint, and a blind dowel joint.
3. This turned out to be a great learning experience and really boosted my confidence that an old dog can learn new tricks.
