Back in the shop
Hi all,
It's been 6 months, but today I was able to get in the shop. Now you need to know, I have 5 kids that enjoy that they have full access to a well stocked, woodworking shop. Now, after just 4 hours of cleaning, I found a 5x10 mill, 5hp table saw, 18in bandsaw, 8in jointer, power feed thickness planer and 42 in sander. Got to love the kids making wood chips. As my dad stated, it's better to have a dirty shop and know where and what they are doing than have a clean shop and wonder.
So, my first project was for the wife.

Very nice cutting board. Just curious. What is the material that you used?

That's one of the HDPE Sam's cutting boards. It's 1/2 x 15 x 20 for ABOUT $9.00.rgerding wrote:Very nice cutting board. Just curious. What is the material that you used?

Do you use the same settings for your tool bits as you would for wood?

Re: Back in the shop
Jim, Congrats & welcome back to the shop!
Thank you for the gadgets on your way back to the shop.
I have a flag or two on my "things to do list".

I have used the one from Sams for a couple different projects, and some Walmarts have a similar HDPE board as well for those that don't have a Sam's club membership. That's one of the HDPE Sam's cutting boards. It's 1/2 x 15 x 20 for ABOUT $9.00.
