When the local high school built their small theatre (right behind the big theatre), they built a stage that covered up the ventilation returns for the room. This made the theatre too hot or too cold, depending on the season.
I used Aspire to design 4 ventilation grills that I cut on my ShopBot (mine and the local TechShop's). These four grills appear in the base of the stage's apron.

These are really nice and make a great addition to the theater while solving the ventilation problem! Might want to move the post to the Aspire gallery but I liked these and looking to do something similar in our movie room on a smaller scale.

Nice job Chelmite, all who attend will set in comfort. I also have been doing heat vent and cold air returns for a local cabinet builder. Seven designs in all here are a few of them.

Chelmite, for some reason, I'm not able to respond to a PM message. Maybe a moderator would need to move the message to the Aspire Gallery instead of the VCarve but no big deal, it's here and we're getting to see your work! You might want to just post the picture and message again in that forum so Aspire users can see what you did if you have the time.
buck4- nice vents. I've looked at these in the store and never wanted to pay the cost- obviously I should make some instead!
