Footlocker/keepsake box

My wife’s co-worker’s son recently graduated from Marine Corp bootcamp and wanted me to make a footlocker/keepsake box to store items he recieves during his time of service. I also made a removable display box that he can put his awards and achievment medals in. I used my CNC to engrave the Marine Emblem in the top and his name on the front of the box. She was very pleased with it and it was an honor to make this for her son. All of us should thank our service men and women for all they do to keep our country safe and free. May GOD always watch over them and return them safely to their families and loved ones.

Nicely done. The inner tray was a great addition to keep small stuff from getting lost.

As has been said looks pretty sturdy which is really important when you get shifted about a bit as a lot of service personnel do.

great job.Looks good. Brings back a lot of memories .I remember when we all had to fall out with our (locker boxes) to drill with them.Cause someone forgot to lock there's.We all got punished.Wow. Basecircle
