Thanks everyone for the positive comments . Very much appreciated , can one of ya tell me what a good setting for the plunge rate is with acrylic that was the one that I was not sure of. Thanks pops

Addictive isn't it Pop's lol, I've been playing about using a carbide tip rather than diamond for some drag engraving mainly because the engraving tool came with 2 carbide tips.
just one small point about the stuff you are doing if you don't mind me commenting. Try leaving a little bit more blank space especially round the edges, despite what people say bigger isn't always better :lol: :lol: Blank areas or negative space as it is called is a very important part of design work.

I spent 20 years in the Royal Navy as a mechanical engineer, believe me being creative (or trying to be} is a bit of a struggle at times :lol: :lol:
I will never be great at design work as I am just not artistic enough but fortunately I manage to get by.

Hey Pop's,,

What bit are you using to carve acrylics? I use a .0625 ball nose or a 90 v bit but limit my depth to .001 makes for thinner lines.
