Hi Everyone, Here's a couple of pictures I've been playing with using VCarvePro4 and procedure that I used.
Load picture into whatever graphics package you may use, I tend to use Photoshop.
Cut around the parts you want to use and save as a JPEG.
Import into VCarvePro4 and press "fit vectors to bitmap" adjust setting to your own requirements.
When in 2D screen remove any excessive dots or lines and send over to the 3D screen.
I personally use a fine cutter due to my type of work being quite small and takes very little time to engrave.
Depending on the colour of material (black or white) and infill colours you may have to inverse the picture by putting a border around it.
Hope this may give a few ideas to you.
Cheers, Colin
