Quick. Simple. Kids Rocket ship Mirror.

Post by Wemme »

Hello All,
I have been away from the forums for a while and though I would post a simple little project.
We have just had a wee boy and the misses has been on my case to make a mirror of some sort.
I post the EPS artwork here please if you make changes please post back here for others.
I did not have much time so this was hacked up pretty quick as a result there is a lot of room for improvement.
one of which is to fillet some of the corners which i overlooked in my haste.
I had a sheet of old 3mm MDF laying around that never seemed to get used so i cut from this.
The Mirror is Acrylic mirror plastic which also cut to size on the cnc.
Vectrics Tabbing feature as always was a life saver.
The bolts are made from 8mm wooden joiner dowels that were cut to size and then had a M8 nut screwed on.

Happy Machining.
Regards
Bart
