Acquired my Vcarve and I'm starting to do my guitar work on it now.
I made this video with my first steps with experiments.
Next week will put the results in videos on machine.

Thanks

Alex

Hi

I'm doing with my guitars Vcarve Pro + Cut3D for some customers.
It is more difficult than the Aspire by some limitations, but it's still an excellent software and recommend.

Below 4 videos with their simulations.

Hi Alex,

What methods are you using to do the belly and forearm cuts?

Will you be attempting to do archtops?

Hi Dave
I use to 3d forms the Rhinoceros and so imported into vectric softwares.

I make top shapes like a this image attached. Is possible to make the soft body (front and back) in Aspire with too rails sweep.

Rhinoceros + Cut3d and Vcarve are very nice for instruments makers. sure that Aspire is more complete and you can make a same work if you learn good the reliefs tools

Hi Dave, this idea occurred to me to make shapes or soft top.
Take the video and see if that helps something.
