V Inlay Chess Set
I've been wanting to make a Chess / Draughts (checkers) for ages, finally got to & this is my Twisted Chess Set.
I'm open to constructive criticism, there where a couple of errors but put them right as best I could.
I printed the white pieces a couple of hours ago, I'll print the black tomorrow.
410mm x 410mm x 35mm
I really enjoyed making this, I'm going to have to make or buy a press, I do like the idea of a vacuum bag press. if anyone has used 1 or made one, how good is it?

Curious? Are those chess pieces 3D printed? They look really good. Maybe a resin printer? I have had a resin printer for a few months and have yet to give it a go.

Yes, 3d printed , I got a Bambu Lab A1 about a month ago and used Bambu Matte PLA filament.
I upgraded from a Creality CR10 I bought about 7 / 8 years ago, omg how things have moved on, the quality of print and the speed is amazing.

I hear you! Started with a Creality Ender 3 about 5 years ago. Am now running a Bambu X1C and 2 A1 Minis. Gave the Ender to a young guy over at the hardware store. Have printed all sorts of useful things for the shop and around the house.

Remember the old Star Trek days?
"I'll get the computer to replicate one for you" ?
We're almost there!
I first saw 3D printing at a CAD show in 2003 I think and it completely blew my head away.
Now all the school kids have them.
Amazing tools.
