Interesting. Was the dark brown inlay material a 'butcher block' end grain slab? Interesting look.

Good job. Looks nice.

Very deep inlay. What angle bits did you use (I couldn't catch it in the video)? How thick is the inlay?

It is, indeed, end grain Wenge for the inlay. I used a 10° V-Bit. The inlay is 4.2mm + 0.8mm glue gap. For cutting boards I go a bit deeper (8 to 10mm).

Yes, it is an end-grain blank (Wenge) I had lying around.

It was 7 or 8mm deep, with a 10 degree bit.
