Greetings all.
I’m looking for some help building a 4th axis gadget. This new gadget would incorporate a work piece flip (either 90 degree or 180 degree) into the tool-path chain.
For example: we are building a two sided project, after a roughing’s pass the flip command is inserted and the second side of the work piece is roughed, or if we a cutting a corbel, then there are three 90 degree flip commands issued in step with the roughing passes.
On my Onefinity machine the fourth axis is called the A axis.

Re: 4th axis gadget
Hi Allen,
Let me have a go at it.
Send me some drawings on what you are needing and I will write up a design document and let you know if and when I can complete it.

Re: 4th axis gadget
Very interested in this as well.
It would be great to have a 4 sided option like there is in Cut3D!!
I'd love to do their porche example in a 4th axis setup.
