Box creator vs dovetail creator

So if the box creator can make the boxes with dovetails, when would the dove tail creator be needed?

For when you want dovetails and you don’t need boxes? If brand “C” cola exists why would you want brand “P” cola?

Sure, I guess that makes sense. I just always think of them in terms of using them for boxes. At least when it comes to making them on a CNC. If I have something bigger I want dovetails I always make it by hand. I never even thought of doing it with the CNC. May have to try it though I would think I have to install a vertical holding position on my table.
