Free Project of the Month - Monogramed Catch-all Tray

Post by Todd Bailey »

I have a routine of putting my wallet and car keys in the same place every time I get home, so I never, well mostly, misplace them. You can make this leather inspired catch-all tray with your CNC using Vectric’s Moulding Toolpath strategy, two tools, and a scrap of an old countertop.

As always this project can be personalized with the addition of a standard VCarve cutter. The finished tray would be perfect as a wedding, birthday, or a “just because” gift.

That looks great. I can see plenty of uses for that. It'll make some great gifts.

Darn you Todd,

I recently made 14 dished trays for the better half's quilting sisters and she just saw the picture of your Catch-all Tray. You guessed it "Oh I want some of those. Yes dear, how many is some?
Oh well, my bad, as I showed her the picture.

Very nice project Todd

Yes I will be cutting some although not from something as hard as Maple countertop material.
