Guide to editing a Vectric Post Processor

Post by Mark »

The document attached below is a guide designed to help you if you wish to edit or customize your own post processor.
Or if the model of your particular machine control is not one supported by the standard post processors that ship with the software.

Please note:
This manual is suitable for Cut2D, Cut3D, PhotoVCarve, Aspire 2.0 or less, VCarve Pro 5.0 or less.
With Aspire V2.5 and VCarve Pro V5.5, the correct manual is shipped with those products and is located in the:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VCarve Pro V5.5\Help\Docs" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Aspire V2.5\Help\Docs"folder
(assuming 64 bit Windows).
With Aspire V3.0 and VCarve Pro V6.0 and greater,(including trial editions) the correct manual is shipped with those products and is
available from a link within the "Help" menu of the programs.
(Help > Post Processor Editing Guide).

Safety First.

Please take all necessary precautions when running the output
from a modified post processor for the first time.

Always check the output in a text editor before running
for the first time.
