I have a problem:
I use cut 2d and mach3 for some time with no problem.
Now i have VCarve pro 4.6. nothing is change in mach3, but if i try to v-carving it start without problem, but suddenly the z ass go deeper of 5-6 mm,but in the g-code i can see for ass z -0.4. i use as post processor : Mach 2/3 arcs (mm)
Can anyone halp me?

Hello Frasem,
The Vcarving toolpaths cut their depth according to the width of the closed vectors as far as I know and therefore if you are cutting vectors that vary in width the depth the Z cuts will be deeper for the vectors that are farther apart from each other. Do your toolpaths include varying widths so as to have the wider areas cut deeper than the rest? If you want to maintain a certain depth for these Vcarving toolpaths then you need to select the 'Flat Depth' option and enter a value for the deepest cut.
