I have upgraded my Shark CNC machines to Axiom machines & They take different Post Processors. The Post Processors are not compatible with each other. I have a lot of Tool Paths saved on Flash Drives that I've used on my Shark machine (tap files). My question is this...can I switch from a "tap" post processor to an "mmg" post processor on these Tool Path files...or do I need to rewrite everything using the "mmg" file for my new Axiom machines?
I am a High School Woodshop teacher & any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Switching Out Post Processors On Existing Tool Paths
The best way is to re-save them from the Vectric software using the new post processor.

Re: Switching Out Post Processors On Existing Tool Paths
If speeds and feed rates changed due to the new machine I'd look at the tool paths as well
