Re: Rotary Tutorial
Bill, Flemming,
Thanks for taking this on. I've rolled all the materials into an 80MB zip file. I'll send Bill a private message with details on how to download it.
Bill, I noticed that you are only about two hours away from me. Perhaps some Saturday I could take a day trip to visit your shop. Who knows, we might even get a mini Vectric convention if we invite some of the other people in the Northern California area!

Re: Rotary Tutorial
I will be starting to get the tutorial together after I get back from vacation in about two weeks.
A visit would be welcome.

Bill, Flemming,
Thanks for helping with this.
I don't have an 4th axis right now, but in the future, so Thanks for keeping this alive.

Don, Bill has done all the wonderful work on the rotary tutorial
Bill, What you are doing is a great help to all of us who are struggling with doing work on an indexer. Thanks for carrying the ball on this.

Re: Rotary Tutorial
Thank you Paul, but actually Randall Newcomb did all the work I am just reediting it and reposting it on new page.
I would not have been able to do my rotary projects without the Rotary Tutorial or Vectric's Forums.
PS: Visits from 48 cities in 7 countries to the tuorial for yesterday and today so far!

Re: Rotary Tutorial
The new tutorial looks wonderful. Thanks for taking on this project. I can attest that a project like this is done because of a passion for the tools and the amazing results that come off the machine.

Re: Rotary Tutorial
I finally got around to setting up a redirect from my old site to Bill's for the Rotary tutorial. Now people who go to my site will be automatically redirected to Bill tutorial page since it has the latest information.

Rotation Axis
Bought the Rotation Axis. Now try to run. The program I made a wrap X values (around Y Axis) in VCarve Pro.. The WinPC-NC-USB operates in a circular mode, but in a direction "Z"- not . Rotation Axis is working. In the 4x mode works the same as in 3d, and the Rotation engine is not running. How do I get out of this maze? Thank you.

Re: Rotary Tutorial
Fantastic Tutorial, Thank you sooooo much for posting.
Re: Rotary Tutorial
I wonder why you would write
"You cannot take a full 3D file and directly toolpath and carve it using the rotary axis machining."
I believe I did exactly that...
