Re: Up & Running Rotary
Looks like a really nice setup, what kind of backlash are you looking at with this table and does it have a way to remove it?
I also like your little blue anodized clamps, may I ask where you got them or did you make those as well?
Thanks for sharing

Re: Up & Running Rotary
vortech 4x8 i like the it,as far as the workmanship sucks, they took good materials and just slaped it together after getting everything fixed it works fine.
Re: Up & Running Rotary
what did you have to fix, tweak to get it right?...I thought about one of these....but went shopbot instead. what are you going to turn?

Jim your right that looks like my router!!!(hope you had a good holiday!)
Splinter, could not have said it better my self!! Can you please share what you did I have been looking at mine to do the same as you but I have built my table up with 2in of mdf one is the vac table the other was to raise it up closer to the gantry. I guess I'm going to have to take all that $h!t all back off and rebuild yet again to gain the room for the rotary.
Will you pm me your number I would like to chat about your setup if you have time.
(And hopfully I can find a couple days to get it going I think I am going to be real busy real soon..... )
Thanks,
Nick
