Up & Running Rotary

Got my 8 inch rotary up and running with alot of help,got the table & tailstock from grizzly the drive & motor from keling.net they were realy helpful with what i needed and how to install.

Looks like a really nice setup, what kind of backlash are you looking at with this table and does it have a way to remove it?

I also like your little blue anodized clamps, may I ask where you got them or did you make those as well?

im not sure on backlash,there is ajustment. got the clamps at www.ROCKLER.COM they are called cam clamp they hold good with quick setup and relese time. bill

nice set up...looks like a vortech router, how do you like it, any problems with the machine?

vortech 4x8 i like the it,as far as the workmanship sucks,they took good materials and just slaped it together after getting everything fixed it works fine.

what did you have to fix, tweak to get it right?...I thought about one of these....but went shopbot instead. what are you going to turn?

Jim your right that looks like my router!!!(hope you had a good holiday!)

Splinter, could not have said it better my self!! Can you please share what you did I have been looking at mine to do the same as you but I have built my table up with 2in of mdf one is the vac table the other was to raise it up closer to the gantry. I guess I'm going to have to take all that $h!t all back off and rebuild yet again to gain the room for the rotary. :(
Will you pm me your number I would like to chat about your setup if you have time.
(And hopfully I can find a couple days to get it going I think I am going to be real busy real soon..... :D )
