Can you post a picture or the CRV file of the work?
Thanks,
Jim

The image does not display for some reason. You will need a model that matches the surface that "Turned Profile" toolpath will create.
You only need to the part of the surface that is under the text and that part is not curved, so you can use a tilted zero plane to model it.
The way I did it:
  1. Draw horizontal lines on "Guides" layer under and above the text.
  2. Draw a line perpendicular to the horizontal lines. The line should go through the "lower" point on the profile (on the top).
  3. Draw a horizontal dimension line (Horizontale Abmessung) from the intersection point to the right side of the material - this will be a base height for our model.
  4. Draw an angle dimension (Winkel Abmessung) between vertical guide line and the "higher" point on the profile (on the bottom) - this will determine the tilt.
  5. Edit the properties of the zero plane - set the base height according to the dimension (23.47 mm). Enable tilt and set it by drawing a line on the vertical guide line from point 2. Set tilt angle according to dimension (3.27°).
  6. Draw a rectangle across the width of the job, between horizontal guide lines, on "Model Limits" layer.
  7. With the rectangle selected, right click on "Ebene 1" and select Clipping->Apply (Ausschneiden->Anwenden) - this will trim our plane the the area we need.
  8. Go to the Material Setup (Rohlingsmaße einstellen) form and position model so that the gap inside model (Arbeitsluftspalt inne) is 0.
  9. Recalculate toolpaths - "Turned Profile" will not recalculate, but it doesn't need to.
  10. Verify with simulation.
I'm attaching the file for reference

.
I'm not sure if the model is accurate enough, but this should at least set you in a good direction.
I hope this helps.

I did this in Aspire 11. I'm not sure if it can be done in V-Carve. I created a 3DClip of the component and attached a link to it . Maybe it will help.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o0_0qh ... sp=sharing

Reset the toolpath preview
Preview the Turned Profile toolpath
Create a component from the toolpath preview
Create a 3D toolpath of the component
View the 3d toolpath and the vcarve text toolpaths

The 3DClip would be imported into an existing project using "File > Import > Component / 3D Model...". But I believe 3DClips are an Aspire only thing (I seem to recall a thread about 2 months ago that mentioned this).

I'm pretty sure that the .3dClip format is distributed with all of the vectric software programs.

3dclip works exclusively in Aspire.

The v3m format works in VCarve and Aspire

The v3m format is a proprietary format that can only be created by Vectric and Design & Make

I guess I should have been a little more explanatory. If you only have V-Carve you can't create 3d objects and creating a component from the toolpath preview is something V-Carve isn't capable of. That's why I created the 3dClip so you could complete your project. I realize that what you really wanted was to create everything in V-Carve but I don't think that is possible.

Michael,
In Aspire, if you right click on a component in the component tree you can export as a 3dClip.
