Randall,
looking for some help, your octagon rotary was very useful for a straight taper but now I am trying to make a rounded taper (bullet profile) and I can't seem to get the curve correct. any tips?
rotary question, probably simple just missing one part

What is wrong with the curve? Not being able to see what you are writing about makes it difficult to understand the issue.

A picture would really help.make a rounded taper (bullet profile)
Do you want the end of the piece to curve down to a point?
Do want the curve to be smooth, or continue to have the octagon shape?
Multiple profiles with the 2-rail sweep will likely be the solution.

If you do not see a file when you attach one then we do not see it either.

uploaded the .jpg file, thanks for the link, could not get the curve of the bullet tip to develop. Maybe try the multiple 2 rail sweeps with smaller steps, i was trying to do it all in one operation

Something like this? If not, then as said before, we really need a picture.
