I am really having a hard time with the rotary. what I want to do is table legs with a clip art of a walleye (which I have). It keeps putting the clip art in the middle, which of course is not seen. Also I get
the error model thickness exceed material thickness. Can anyone help me with this? I have adjusted everything I know. the tutorials don't discuss model thickness problems.
I have in 4 years only completed one project with the clip art in the correct. I am pretty desperate at this point, If someone is in MN I will pay for them to come help me with this. If not I will sell my equipment.
Thank you
Mary

Re: hard time with rotary
which software do you have? vcarve pro or aspire ?
in reguads to model thickness,
if you select your model in aspire on the modeling tab 4th row down, there is a icon like a cresent wrench.
click on it and you can change your model properties. like thickness there is also a scale z thickness of model on the same line
as far as having model on the surface when you go to the toolpathing side under material setup, you can adjust your model location in the block of wood.( you want it to the top of course)

woodmizer sawmill and joe's hybrid cnc, a good combination

OK, i figured it out. I had to add a layer and put the clip art in that layer on the top. Thank you.
