I am trying to setup a metal lathe to be used with Aspire. It has a lathe tool post that you place your cutters in. I have a number of questions and I was wondering if anyone has already done this. One question for tooling, if the blade is triangular, how do you setup the tool?
I'm going to try to test cut by setting the tool as an end mill with a 1/32 inch diameter cutter. But if anyone has already done this for a lathe and I would be interested how they setup the different tooling and basically how they configured the machine.
Thank you.

If you mean a triangle carbide insert, the v-bit suggestion should work

Props to you for living on the edge! Just need to get the angle of the bit correct.
