Would like to pay to have 2D logo made into 3D

Post by culinarywood »

Hi, I just upgraded to VcarvePro 11 and would like to make some items using a 3D logo for one of my customers. I can't make the 3D image in VcarvePro so I'm looking for someone to create it for me.

Please advise,

Kieran

Unless you require rounded or tapered surfaces, that logo could be made in 2D by dividing it into different elements, each cut at a different depth. It could be projected on the 3D model to be cut as a recess, or be a raised logo by drawing a profile vector and excluding it from the 3D tool path.

I guess the first question you need to answer is whether you want it raised or recessed?

I was thinking something like this in the video at 41 minutes 13 seconds. Like the deer head.

The file Adrian posted here might be of some inspiration.

The above mentioned models can be scaled to whatever size needed. It would also help with a bit more information and/or details such as size, texture, half model, whole model, etc....

Here is the SummerHouse Rectangular model incorporated into a dish.

In my earlier posts I had forgotten to install model into a dish format like the Dear Head representation you were referring to.

Sorry for the mix up. The Round shaped model I had created too can be easily installed into a dish model also if it is preferred over the rectangular shape.
