I'm new to Vectric. Love it so far. I bought Vcarve pro for now and my onefinity arrives this week. Up till know been doing any carving on my sons xcarve.
I'm needed to hire someone to take my 2d logo and turn it 3d. I'm inserting the logo so anyone who is interested can see how hard or easy it would be. Thank you!
Robbie

What do you mean by "turn it into 3d"??? That is a flat pattern.
Hmmm, since you have VCarve Pro this is a perfect time to learn how to use it. How to trace something, pocketing, profiling, etc.

The design would work well as a "reverse" V-carve. No need for a 3D model.

For that matter the vectors might already exist as an Illustrator / Inkscape / CorelDraw file so you won't even need to do a bitmap trace.

Done! Used Vcarve Pro and and it's pretty simple. You can do a lot more to it.

While I certainly feel like a NOOB, I am still thankful for your suggestions and help. Much appreciated.
