Blending 2 D&M scenes

Post by Aussie »

Hi All,

I would like to blend 2 scenes together, can someone point me to any tutorials that could help me with this.
I am starting to play around with the sculpting tools.... lots to learn, the big problem I see is the different model heights where the two scenes join.

Thanks as always
Ron

Hello Aussie...

There are a few ways you could deal with this... and if you combine a few you might get it perfect.

- Play with the shape height of the models to see if you can minimize the problem
- Use a bit of Tilt or Fade on the models to get them to merge better
- Use the "replace below" option to remove any extra backing/base height from the thicker model

Of course, a combination of the above will get you a decent result to start, and then a bit of sculpting to finish it off would be nice.

Let me know if that helps...

Thanks Todd,
I played around with the model and base heights and got them close to each other.... the next problem is matching the horizon...
Maybe I have bitten off my than I can chew..... the inspiration well exceeds the current skill level.
