I am using Mach3. When I do a X, Y & Z zeroing, on my 1st tool or my first toolpath the CNC always starts 1" above the Z zero point I have set up. My X & Y are fine. I then stop my CNC and reset the Z zero point to where it should be. From that point forward. I have no problem. I have reached out to Avid CNC, but they cannot figure out why this is happening.
Any suggestions?
Thanx

Re: Z zero
Are you using a "Z" touchplate...make sure your settings accurately reflect the thickness of the touchplate...if you don't use one, make sure you aren't showing one in your settings.
