While performing pocket cuts or inlay pockets the x & y positioning for the toolpath cut changes on it's own. Sometimes on the 1st cut the x/y positioning will change multiple times. Sometimes you will get several steps before the x/y position changes.
X/Y positioning for HOME do not change.
Using Vectric Aspire V11
I have restarted both the CNC - Pro v5 - the laptop computer, formatted the USB disc, different USB drives.
No recent software upgrades, no power outages, the machine have performing great till yesterday - managed to wreck a $800 project.

I'd check every coupling involved in moving the the machine from the steppers forward. Could be a grub screw or such has worked loose and the stepper(s) are skipping under load.

Turns out both X/Y couplers - all 4 screws required a 1/4-1/2 turn each - thanks
