Help, I am very new and cannot seem to get tap files saved to my flash drive to show up when the drive is plugged into the pendant? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Just a guess, but you might need to be sure the files are not in a subfolder. If they are then move them to the root drive of the USB flash drive and see if they show up.

You might also check the extension on the file. If your pendant is looking for a certain file extension, it won't pick up something else.

Go to the maker of your Pendant and ask this question. My guess its looking for a certain file extension. It may even be in your owners manual.

For me the best practice is to dedicate a USB stick or two to the CNC. Make sure it is completely clear of files and folders before you use it for toolpaths and when the job is done delete everything off of it. This keeps it simple when at the pendent and selecting the next toolpath file to run.
