We need Pentium 4 Computers running windows XP, any leads ?

Not sure but I think other have this same issue.

We bought an older Shopbot PRS/T Alpha 4x8 cnc machine and the computers it runs on are ancient Pentium 4 windows OS XP and they seem to not be very reliable after all these years.

We'd like to find a source or shop that can either make them or refurbish possibly to make functional. So if you know " a guy " or do it yourself please let us know.

Or even buy your old computers like this that you dont need/use anymore.

any ideas or comments of any kind would be appreciated.

Does it really need a computer that old? My shopbot is from 2009, I haven't upgraded the software in years as it does what I need but I run it all on a Windows 10 PC.

i honestly cant be sure, i recall along time ago being told any faster processors would overwhelm the control box stepper motors, is that not accurate ?

we have a 2006 shopbot prt alpha, if your runs on windows 10 i cant imagine mine cant as well.

so a windows 10 computer withshop bot 3 currentish software runs your fine ?

Yes, I'm on v3 (can't recall the exact version but a good few years old) running on a Windows 10 pc and have no issues.
