New cnc user:
Trying a new project and it requires you to program or only probe for X axis - or only y axis etc.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Pictures or screenshots help, not clear exactly what you want to do. What control software are you using? Some have probing routines built-in, do you have additional hardware for probing?

If you are running a shark machine as your profile says then try asking this question on the shark forum

Morning,
I do have a shark and the unit that I plug my thumb drive into for projects, just have not had to use multiple bits (this one asks for 4 bit changes) I think I can mull my way through that but (do not know how to just probe for x,y or axis only)
I took a look at the unit I plug my disk into and it looks like that MAY be the way to only probe for one of these axis.
I can take a photo of it and see if someone can help. I have yet to find a U.S. phone number for tech support.
Thanks for your help and will send a msg to the link you sent.

Eric, have you visited the Next wave automation website? Here is a link to one of their videos that should help get you started.
https://nextwaveautomation.zendesk.com/ ... ed-Webinar

Unless the included manual has changed it has everything you need to get started on a basic project. Phonr numbers and email addresses are also in the manual.

This link takes you to the manual and other resources page.
