I just bought a new spindle for my Laguna IQ, and it runs in reverse. From what I have read on the internet, you can simply switch any two wires and the spindle will run the other way. If I understand it correctly there's three wires you can switch, with the fourth one being the ground. The problem is that the wires are marked X-A, X+A, X-B and X+B, so there's no "odd man out" that could be identified as the ground.
Any ideas?

I think you need to give Laguna a call or email. Spindles are expensive and swapping wires is risky unless you know what your doing.

Re: Reversing spindle rotation, Laguna IQ
I already have a call-in to Laguna, we'll see what they have to say. I dug a bit deeper and found that the motor side of the VFD has a 3-wire connection. I suspect that this is where it needs to be switched, and not in the terminating strip where the wires go out to the spindle.

Solution: Switch two of the three wires connected to the VFD. Problem solved, and the new spindle is up and running!
