old axyz micro-inverter
old axyz micro-inverter
I have a 1998 AXYZ router and something in the TB Wood's X2C2005-0B MICRO-INVERTER went out and no longer have voltage to the spindle. Is there an options out there for replacing the inverter or repairing it? Also, the operating system was changed to WinCNC a few years ago after the original AMC system quit. Any info is much appreciated.

I run WinCNC. The product web site is at wincnc.net.
There is a WinCNC discussion forum on CNCzone: WinCNC
CNCzone may have some forums that could help you with the inverter issue as well.

Here is a link to the manual which has a trouble shooting guide and list of fault codes for your inverter.

If your drive needs repair it looks to be kind of expensive IMHO. Depending on whether you are using single or 3 phase input, your particular model outputs 2.2Kw (single phase 220V) or 3.7Kw (3ph 220V) . If you are using 220V single phase then it could be replaced for less than $200 for a Huanyang 2.2Kw model.

There are other manufacturers out there in that price range but I have had little experience with them.
