Vaccum table

Post by mike1966 »

I saw a post about a vac table using motors from lighthouse, I was just wondering if 2 shopvacs would have as much suction as 1 of the motors.
The motors are $140 and the 5hp shopvacs are on sale for $40 I might buy 2 or 3 shopvacs if it would work.

Be sure the shop vacs do not rely on the suction air for cooling. I'm not sure how to check, but without cooling air the motor will overheat.
