Hi Dave -
Cannot comment on entire K2 machine, but my z-slide is from K2. Initially I was concerned because the thickness of the aluminum backplate looked a bit too thin, but it has worked well for the past year.

Thanks for the reply. I too have a K2 Z axis and have been happy with it. Due to the lack of replies, I am assuming that nobody has a complete machine thus no comments on the K2 control system.
