K2 CNC

Post by Phil »

A friend recently picked up a K2 CNC machine, circa 2005. It looks like a 12" x 24" cutting area. It came with no manual, no software and no router. Good news is he got it for free. If anyone can help find a manual and machine software it would be helpful.
Also if anyone owns one and can provide any helpful information, that would be appreciated.

A Centroid upgrade might be a good solution. You can request a quote.

I just did this with a 4x8 warthog. all the old electronics were fried but the mechanics were perfect. I bought a new pc with windows 10. I am running UCCNC(im told this is the more modern Mach 3) as the control software, and vcarve pro for cam. so far I have no issues other than that im brand new to cnc...
