Just curious if this if something like this is feasible in vcarve? Or could Aspire be the way to go?

You could create something similar in VCarve, but Aspire would make a very close match much easier. Not only for modeling the convex design, but automatically making the concave interior along with a uniform “shell wall” thickness of your choice using the Offset Model feature.
