Usually I hear that you need to buy Aspire to make shape necks, but in VCarve also is a way to do that.
Sure you will need make some adjustments after machining but this technic can help you to save a lot of time using your arms to roughing wood with files or another dangerous way.
Thank you

I've used Vcarve Desktop to machine the back of an acoustic neck - at least, I've done test cuts. I need to finalize my fixture before attempting the real thing.
I did use other software to model the neck, but even the Desktop version let me machine a 3D model. I didn't have the control that I'm used to with other CAM packages, but I also didn't pay $$$$ for it!

Yes .. I use VCarve Pro to make my basses and guitars and other software 3D.
VCarve is cheap if you think in how many things it can do and also it is easy to learn.
There in my web you can see how I make my guitars and also I have more tip videos.
