Thanks! Yes, that works in desktop and I've used it often. I somehow interpreted what you wrote as meaning that I could move the mouse to a particular point in the preview and it would show depth/x/y/z or some such. Just wishful thinking on my part. Thanks again for the clarification.

Wow, I need to pay more attention that the fine print on the screen! Yes, that works in VCarve desktop. This has been a good day to learn about previously unknown goodies. Thanks!
