Shapeoko XXL Spoil Board Grid Lines

Post by davidj236 »

Hi Ya'll,

I have created a simple 2 inch grid line pattern that you can use to add grids to your spoil board. I used Vcarve Pro but it should also work with Vcarve Desktop.

The toolpath is set up for a 60 degree vbit, there are 2 toolpaths, one for the vertical and one for horizontal lines

Hope this helps anyone that is looking for grids

Thanks,
David

Update:

The Y distance was only set to 22 inches as this was the height or width of my XL spoil board which I have placed on top of my now new XXL main spoil board. You can increase the distance of the Y grid lines as needed.

Thanks,
David

New File has been added, it covers the 32x x 40y inch spoil board size for the Shapeoko XXL. Using a 60 degree vbit and no flat depth.

I removed the first attachment as it had some issues so it was deleted and I started over.

Hope this is helpful

Regards,
David...

David, now that you have it worked out, you should also post on the forum associated with the Shapeoko. I'm sure many more will appreciate it there, too. +1

(I've posted the name of the manufacturer of the Shapeoko before and got it censored.)
