Tall Ship

Post by garylmast »

I had some 3/8” thick maple flooring left over from replacing some carpet in my house. I cut the thin sections on the table saw and using the band saw I cut them into strips. I designed everything using from pictures and using Aspire software. All the other parts were cut on the CNC machine. The laser engraver was used for the parts on the deck. The sails were made from a lawn chair I scrapped. All in all, the only pieces I had to buy were the dowels for the masts. Total cost under $10.00. I guess for being a cheapskate I can’t complain.
