The 82-year-old woman who lives across the street called me to take her to an Instant Care Facility. Once I picked her up, I took her to the hospital instead. After 1-1/2 month she returned home. My wife bought her a ceramic angel as a welcome home gift. It also gave me an idea for my latest project.
I was it made out of scrap wood, Pine, Alder, Douglas fir. I then applied the bronze metal powder coating for the finish. Size is 8” x 8” x 13” tall.

Re: Angel
I didn't know that you could powder coat wood. Any issues with the wood cracking from the heat?

I don't powder coat like they would do metal, instead I mix a metal mesh with resin and spray it on. After it's set, I take steel wool and a fine metal brush and scrub the resin away, leaving the metal. Here's one project I posted that goes through this process.
