Cloth can look so good carved in wood (or stone). So when I saw my friend doing her craft, I thought I saw an opportunity to make a carving of her at work.
Carving is 14.6 x 13.75, model height is 1.98”, cut in spruce, finished with General Finishes Prairie Wheat gel stain with Arm-r-seal top coat.
Cut with a 3/16 ball end mill,

Goodness, that is amazing. It showcases 2 artists - the one working on the cloth and the one who made the carving. Thank you for sharing.

A truly Beautiful piece!!
And the cut was Great!
Was that modeled in Aspire by you?
If so, then one More "Hat's off to you".
If I had an inkling I could model like that...I'd skip eating for a few months and upgrade to Aspire!

Thanks for all the positive comments.
I make my models in ZBrush, not Aspire. I import them into aspire and do all my toolpaths in Aspire. I will adjust model height and make some minor adjustments with Aspire. Aspire is surely an essential part of my workflow.
And some of my cleanup tools that I use after work comes off the machine. The Fordome Micromotor is one of the best tools that I have ever purchased, after my Lie Neilsen Number 5 1/2, My Cosman dovetail saw, my Auriou rasps and rifflers, my Bluespruce chisels...
