Harps for Grandchildren

Post by jael »

My Wife suggested I make a harp, I downloaded plans from Musicmakers in USA and converted them to vectors. These are the result.

You make it sound so easy. I'm sure there were many complex steps between "downloaded... and converted them to vectors". And several hundred more from that to the photo!

Many mistakes of course, the first one I made has just been worked on to correct some issues, still not happy and I think I will remake the neck and stem. Only because I drilled the wrong size holes for the tuning pins and the work arround wasn’t satisfactory . The second harp I am very happy with, all a learning curve. But what else would I be doing?
