5" x 9"
Oak, Walnut, Maple and Ebony
Modeled in Aspire

16 Inlays: 4 straight wall and 12 V-carved.
Whiskers are bristles from a brush.

Thanks for looking and I hope it brings a smile to the viewer.

The hardest part of this one was trying to figure out how to achieve the multi-wood look. I had the vectors from creating the model so the issue was avoiding any inside corners. I really meant for this particular piece to be a "hard edit" so I could work out any bugs along the way but it came out well the entire process and decided it was the final piece.

Couple pics of the multi-wood full depth inlays...

Inlaid the maple first and then the oak for the branch followed by the two walnut legs. Approaching it this way avoided the difficult inside corners where the branch and the body met.

I ended up re-cutting a couple of the chest markings and inlaid those separately. Also re-did one of the eyes separately as well. I think next time I do inlays on a model I will just do each one individually.
