Reclaimed Cedar sign

Post by scotttarnor »

I had a friend who wanted to replace and old sign on his business, well about 5 years ago he had his cedar house resided and the gentleman who did it wanted to get rid of the old siding. I got with my brother in-law and we took it and stored it in the loft of his barn rather than let it go to the land fill.
5 years later the owner gets a sign made from that wood

Looking good Scott.
I’ll check it out. Before COVID we regularly had lunch at the Barrel.

Thank you all for the kind comments!
Bill I traced the original sign for the shape. The original sign is below, I can’t let it go I am thinking about restoring it.

Nice job Scott, really like using reclaimed wood.
When driving around if I find someone having their fence replaced I stop and ask if I can have the old fence. I like to use it for project background.
