1930 Packard

Post by garylmast »

My granddaughter saw a few of my last antique cars I built, so she asked if I'd make her one. So searching some pictures, I came up with this 1930 Packard. I use mainly used Aspire to model it with a little help using Rhino. Wood is poplar, walnut and padauk.

Looks great ..... but is it possible to get a little closer so we can see the detail?

Here are a few closeups. The wheel would of turned out better if I used a smaller bit but the smallest I had was a 1mm.

Really nice and inspirational, Gary. I'll have to get a set of really small bits and try my hand at making miniature models.
