Atomic Ranch clock

Post by mickecarlsson »

I am an avid reader of the magazine Atomic Ranch, I love the architecture and interior. In one if the magazines I spotted a clock that I found gorgeous. So I fired up Aspire and made one for my self based on the wood I had laying around. Two pieces of teak 30 mm thick, on piece of teak 10 mm for the inlay and one piece 10 mm Swedish ash.
I cut the two pieces of thick teak and glued them together, I then did the inlay on the ash and glued that to the front.
Some mistakes were made during the process (using french polish for the finish was one mistake) so I decided to do another one (not started yet).
But the outcome was rather nice.
ToDo: change the clock hands to more fitting ones.
